(PoliticalLookout.com)- President Donald Trump’s former National Security Adviser, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, argued on Fox on Wednesday that some of the federal government agencies struggle with an “anti-American” attitude. It comes at a time when Republicans, in particular, grow increasingly dismayed over the Department of Justice and FBI’s perceived lack of action on election fraud.
On “Mornings with Maria,” Flynn told Fox anchor Maria Bartiromo that it was clear that his targeting during the Russia investigation was an attempt at taking down the president.
“First of all, we all know that this was an effort to get Flynn to get Trump, and that’s been made very, made very clear,” he said. “One particular senior FBI agent who has not put into an affidavit, which is a good word to use right now, and that statement that he made was outrageous.”
Flynn’s reference to “affidavit” being a “good word” appears to refer to the thousands of affidavits signed by Americans, so far, in which they attest to witnessing election fraud in battleground states across the country.
“The other things that, you know, the 2016 campaign, 2016 transition, and then into the White House. This entire effort, when they say, Mike, I’m sorry for what happened to you, what I tell people is don’t feel sorry for me. Feel sorry for this president, feel sorry for the presidency of this country, and be outraged at what they tried to do to this country.”
Michael Flynn was the target of the FBI and Russia investigators who alleged that he was facilitating contact with Russia in the runup to the forming of the Trump administration. President Trump recently pardoned Flynn to avoid further suits by future Democrat presidencies but acknowledged how Flynn was not guilty of the crimes he was accused of.
In May this year, charges against Flynn were dropped as it was revealed how FBI agents set him up.
“We have an element in our country, some of which is in the institutions of our government — the Department of Justice and certainly, the FBI and other elements like the intelligence community that just basically are — I mean, I think most Americans would agree or many Americans would agree that there’s an anti-American sense inside of some of these institutions,” he told Bartiromo.
“And they just do not want to see our country thrive in the way that I think Donald Trump has been able to do that despite the assault on him and his ability to lead this country,” he added.
Michael Flynn has remained an outspoken supporter of President Trump through the hearings and suits, and now as a free man he publicly supports the president’s efforts to ensure election integrity.
As a retired Lt. Gen., accusing the FBI and other federal agencies of having anti-American streaks in tells us a lot…
