(PoliticalLookout.com)- According to author and journalist Bob Woodward, who is set to release a tell-all book about his conversations with President Donald Trump, the United States has secret nuclear weapons that China and Russia don’t know about.

Woodward claims that in conversations with President Donald Trump he learned that the United States has weapons so secret that foreign adversaries don’t know they even exist. Woodward even claims that he confirmed that it is true with other sources.

“I have built a nuclear, a weapons system that nobody’s ever had in this country before,” President Trump allegedly told Woodward. “We have stuff that you haven’t even seen or heard about. We have stuff that Putin and Xi have never heard about before. There’s nobody…what we have is incredible.”

It certainly sounds like something Trump would say.

According to the Washington Post, who obtained a copy of Woodward’s new book, the author claims that anonymous sourced confirmed that the United States has a new weapons system but did not provide any details. They were, however, reportedly surprised that President Trump disclosed it.

During an interview with Fox News, national security adviser Robert O’Brien was asked about the situation and whether or not he could confirm it.

“Well, look, I’m not going to get into what he’s talking about,” he said. “But you can rest assured that the men and women who manufacture our weapons and who have always had us on the cutting edge, whether it was back in the old days of the F-117 Nighthawk, to the B-2 bomber, to the F-22, F-35, we’re always on the cutting edge. And we have always got something out there that our adversaries don’t know about.”

He did confirm, however, that President Trump did not talk about any specific weapons system, before reaffirming that the United States is capable of protecting itself against any foe or threat.

So who knows?
