(PoliticalLookout.com)- President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he would extend his ban on teaching Critical Race Theory to government employees. He said that the United States government would stop doing business with people and companies that promote Critical Race Theory or teach it to employees.
The president slammed the far-left theory, which advocated splitting society down racial lines and teaching people that white people are inherently racist, as “divisive and harmful.”
A few weeks ago, I BANNED efforts to indoctrinate government employees with divisive and harmful sex and race-based ideologies,” the president said on Twitter.
…with our Country, the United States Military, Government Contractors, and Grantees. Americans should be taught to take PRIDE in our Great Country, and if you don’t, there’s nothing in it for you!

“Today, I’ve expanded that ban to people and companies that do business…with our Country, the United States Military, Government Contractors, and Grantees.”
The Hill reported on the story as if President Donald Trump was banning companies from pushing “racial discrimination training,” which is not the case. Critical Race Theory argues that all white people are racist and cannot stop being racist, and instead teaches white people to understand their “unconscious bias.”
Racial discrimination training is not banned under President Trump’s order.
Under Trump’s executive order, federal contractors are now banned from “engaging in race or sex discrimination” and contractors are required to “take affirmative action to ensure such discrimination does not occur.”
The order says that any contractor’s workers who participate in training which “promotes race or sex-stereotyping or scapegoating similarly undermines efficiency in federal contracting” and said that any such training distracts from their “pursuit of excellence.”
The order says that it is the policy of the United States “not to promote race or sex-stereotyping or scapegoating in the Federal workforce or in the Uniformed Services” and that the Trump administration will not allow grant funds to be used for Critical Race Theory training.
All federal contractors will also “not be permitted to inculcate such views in their employees,” the order states.
Russell Vought, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, said that President Donald Trump directed him to “ensure that Federal agencies cease and desist from using taxpayer dollars to fund these divisive, un-American propaganda training sessions.”
It means that, unless a future Democrat president undoes the ban, the teaching of Critical Race Theory – advocated by far-left academics like Robin DiAngelo – will now be limited to left-leaning private companies that don’t do business with the United States government.
